The Koustuv Group of Institutions (KGI) began with the aim of providing world class educational opportunities to the deserving students who wants to transfer their Dreams to reality. Its first step towards the goal of imparting quality education was College of Engineering Bhubaneswar. The Naba Digant Educational Trust (NDET) established this Engineering College in 1999 under the leadership of Chairman Er. Prabhat Ranjan Mallick.

Following this, KGI expanded its foray in the educational sphere by establishing Koustuv Institute of Self Domain(KISD), the exclusively Degree Engineering college for Women. Now Under the banner of KGI, BEC,KIT,KSE,KBS,KIS seek to provide students with a strong foundation of Technical, Management & Basic Science education and life skills.
